Colin Peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital, on Wednesday, August 13th, 2008, Colin, aged 69 years, the beloved husband of Dorothy, the best dad in the world to Julia and Wendy, a much loved and respected father in law to Richard and Nick, best pal to all his grandchildren - Georgia, Samantha, Luke, Ben, Leo and Maria, a dearly loved brother of Ronnie and the late Donald, brother-in- law to Suzanne, Jim and Joyce and Alan and Kath and a very special uncle of Ian and Gary, Jackie and Helen, Duncan and Jonathon and Michael, Shelly and Mark, also a very dear friend to many who will be sadly missed.
At rest in the Alderson and Horan Funeral Home. The funeral cortege will leave from Colin’s home on Friday, August 22nd at 10 a.m. for service in Briercliffe Road Baptist and Methodist Church at 10-30 a.m. followed by committal at Burnley Crematorium at 12 noon. No flowers by request please, but donations if so desired are being received for Bart’s Mesothelioma Research, with cheques made payable to special trustees of St Bartholemew’s Hospital, c/o Alderson and Horan Funeral Services, 128 Rossendale Road, Burnley, BB11 5DH.
