Blackmore Cuthbert (Bert) On 7 August. Devoted husband of Mary and loving father of Michael and Jennifer, Alistair and Christine, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A respected parish priest, a brave sailor and bomb disposal officer in World War II. A true gentleman and dearly loved by his family. Service 1.45pm Friday 15 August at St. Saviour's Church followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. All donations, if desired, for St. Catherine's Hospice to T. L. Chapman and Son Ltd, 19-21 Auborough Street, Scarborough, YO11 1HT.
