A dark cloud hung over The Triangle following the news that Robert Dunlop has lost his life in an accident at the North West 200.
It is a double tragedy for the Dunlop family, elder brother, Joey, losing his life in an accident while racing in Estonia.
Feel free to leave your tributes to Robert Dunlop by adding a message.
He was a sporting icon in Northern Ireland and like his brother, Joey will be sorely missed in the motorcycle racing world.

Report this message By James House on 19 May 2008I am not a follower of motorsport really, but I just wanted to offer my condolences to Robert and Joey's family for whom this must be a very difficult time.
It is always sad to hear of sportsmen dying whilst competing, but doubly sad when tragedy strikes twice in the same family.
