Retired postman Mr Graham Paul (known as Paul) Johnson (64), a resident of Berry Hill Care Centre, Mansfield, and formerly of Stamper Crescent, Skegby, was cremated at Mansfield after a service at the crematorium chapel.
Born at New Houghton, life-long local resident Mr Johnson was educated at Anthony Bek and Pleasley schools and William Rhodes School, Chesterfield. A postman with Royal Mail for 26 years, he retired in 2004.
He enjoyed walking with his dogs, holidays, gardening and reading.
Mr Johnson, who died at Berry Hill Care Centre, leaves his partner, Mrs Shirley Wright, three sons, one daughter, two step-sons, one step-daughter and four grandchildren.

Floral tributes were from the family and donations in lieu of flowers were for the Stroke Association and the Alzheimer’s Society.
The service was conducted by the Rev K. Bottley, and arrangements were by Sutton Co-operative Funeralcare .
