Report this message By janet aitken on 6 Mar 2010Thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.

As I ponder the love in his eyes,A Godly love, given without compromise....
I recall many times that he stood by my side,
And spurred me on with vigor and pride.
His voice ever confident, firm and yet fair,
Always speaking with patience, tenderness and care.
The power and might of his hands was so sure,
I knew there was nothing we couldn't endure.
It's true, a few others provided insight,
Yet, he laid the foundation that kept me upright.
He wasthe grandest of men to have lived on this earth,
Although not royal by stature or birth.
He was a man of great dignity, honor and strength.
His merits were noble, and of admirable length.
He was far greater than all other men that I know,
He wasmy Dad, my mentor, my friend and hero.always will be dad miss u still. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxx

What Makes A Dad
God took the strength of a mountain, The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun, The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature, The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages, The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring, The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity, The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities, When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... Dadstill missin you pappy always in my thoughts. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
