My Love, My Life, My Husband – 26 May 1944 - 24 June 2009

HUTCHINS Anthony Edward (Tony) Passed away aged 65 on June 24, 2009, in Canada at the Toronto General Hospital, after a long illness. He was born in Portchester, Hants.

Tony attended the Portsmouth Northern Grammar School for Boys. He emigrated in 1969 to Canada where he spent most of his working life, in the I.T. field. He was a talented musician and as a young man was a member of local Portsmouth bands the 'Crestas' and 'Frank Kelly and the Hunters'.

He leaves behind his dear wife Gayle in Toronto and in England his sister Gillian and many other family members.

Tony passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 65 years and 29 days, after a valiant battle while awaiting transplantation.

Beloved husband of Gayle Sharlene Brown. He also leaves behind his sister Gillian Glover, his nephew David, niece Rachel, and his Uncle Pat & Auntie Pauline Jacobs of Hampshire, England. and many cousins. Gumpy Tony will always be missed by Courtney and Keagan. Tony was born in Hampshire, England, son of the late Eileen and Edward (Ted) Hutchins.Tony came to Canada May 23, 1969, and earned his BA from the University of Toronto. His working life was within the computer and IT fields, but his real love was music

Tony was the very best that England had to offer. His life was Gayle as hers was her Tony. Gayle held him to the very end so his leaving was peaceful.

Rest in peace my Tone.

God Bless and keep you always, until you and your "little Brown girl" meet again.

A Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2009 at St. John's Anglican Church, York Mills (19 Don Ridge Drive, North York, Ontario, Canada M2P 1H3).

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. John's York Mills Cemetery Fund.

    My Darling Tony,

    It's eight months today that you left this earthly life, and me. The hardest thing I ever have had to do was to say 'goodbye' to you. Life without you is so lonely and hopeless. I miss you every minute of every day. Thank you, my darling, for such a beautiful marriage and all the unconditional love you always showered on me. I have so many happy memories of us together. They are all that I have now. I miss you always and will love you for eternity. Until we meet again, I will always be your 'little Brown girl'.
