Barson Brian - Passed away suddenly in Northern General Hospital on May 27 2009, of Arbourthorne, late of Brightside, aged 69. A loving husband, dad and grandad. Service and interment at Shiregreen Cemetery on Tuesday June 9 at 12.00pm. Flowers and donations to W. Simpsons, Fitzwalter Road .
Since you’ve gone first and I remain,
To walk the road alone,
I live in memory’s garden, dear,
With happy days we’ve known.
Since you've gone first and I remain,
One thing I’d have you do,
Walk slowly down the path of death,
For soon I’ll follow you,
I want to know each step you take,
That I may know the same,
For some day, down that lonely road,
You’ll hear me call your name.

Your presence we miss,
Your memory we treasure,

Forgetting you never.
- Brother Carl, grandsons Gareth and Liam.
I have only your memory, dear father,
