At long last it seems that I'm coming home, this time I'm bringing my wife and boys and I'm coming to stay.

What a mixture of emotions yesterday, there was elation when little baby Stewart McManus Grimes Tod was born at 19:04 after what can only be described as a gruelling labour. Katy done ever so well but I suppose you'll know that because you were there with me the whole time.

I felt so sad afterwards when I knew I couldn't get a wee hug and pat on the back from you but I guess that's something I'm going to have to learn to cope with.

You'd have been so proud of dad and granny, they done a great job with the boys over the 2 days, run themselves into the ground and never uttered so much as a grumble. Really helped keep me sane through the ordeal.

You're in my thoughts every single day and whilst the shock is passing, the hurt of losing you never will.
